When we think of the holidays, or even just fashion and makeup trends for holiday, the first thing we think of is shine: Sequin fabrics, metallic lipsticks, and, of course, highlighter.
Enter Becca’s brand-spankin’-new highlighter trio: the Light Waves Highlighter Palette.
At just $34, this finely milled pressed powder palette features three unique and immensely wearable shades: Two crowd favorites, Moonstone and Prismatic Amethyst, and the exclusive Pink Sapphire shade, which makes for an incredible highlighter or blush topper. Moonstone is a luscious, creamy warm gold that I love to pair with my sunset eyes, while Prismatic Amethyst is an icy frost with a pinky-purple flip. Pink Sapphire steals the show though, a peach highlighter with flecks of pink duo-chrome pigment.
The packaging for this product is divine. The compact is a beautiful pink-to-blue ombré, complete with a mirror on the inside. The pan sizes are perfect. “Just right,” as Goldilocks would say. The product is subtle, yet beautiful, and incredibly buildable.
In this photo, I’m wearing Prismatic Amethyst on my cheekbone, brow bone, and above the brow. On the cheekbone, I built up the product using a glycerin-based setting spray and a fan brush.
